Walk at the Beach

Ry stood by the shoreline, where the water came rushing up and then back down. He sighed and turned and walked on. The sand between his touchy felt cool and weird but Ry didn't mind. Ry's white long-sleeve shirt blew in the wind and his black pants hung loosely. Ry turned up to the sky and felt content

Stone walked on the sand, glad that it was a warm day outside. He wore black long cargo shorts, but didn't even bother with shoes or a shirt. He enjoyed the sunlight and thought it was a wonderful day to be outside. He didn't see anyone else there, because he kept his gaze down, away from the blinding sunlight.

Ry then turned and started walking back to his dorm. As he was walking, Ry felt something vibrating in his pants pocket. He took it and saw it was his phone. Ry answered it. "Hello?" The voice on the other line was shrieking and screaming: Ry!!! its been forever!!!" Ry sighed and kept walking, it was his friend, Taki from the orphanage. "Oh hey Taki what up." Dude like where are you?!" I'm at an Academy that you cant attend. Ry smiles to himself and continues talking then stops when he hears these words. "Ry..I have been thinking...and I want to take you back." Ry just stares out into the open, then he says..."no." Ry hangs up the phone and storms off to a part of the beach and sits in the sand.

It took a little while longer for Stone's eyes to adjust to the bright sunlight, but once that was accomplished, he looked further out onto the beach and spotted someone sitting down on the sand all alone. Stone looked closer and realized that he knew the boy. Ry was his name....Stone thought about it for a moment and then made his way over to where Ry was sitting. "U-um...hi, Ry..." Stone said quietly.

Ry looked up, eyes looked glazed over and few tears streamed down his face. He quickly wiped them away not wanting Stone to think he was a baby or something. "Hey Stone." Ry's voice is a little shaky but he manages t make it sound strong..kind of

Stone noticed the expression in Ry's eyes and realized that he was crying. He must have been sad about something, and Stone wanted to at least comfort him in some way. "W-what's wrong, Ry? Why were your crying? Are you hurt or something?" Stone asked, wanting to know exactly what was wrong with Ry.

"Oh it's nothing Stone...just got some sand in my eye that's all". Ry smiled or at least tried his best to try to convince Stone he was ok. He blinked and rubs his eyes to wipe away the tears that were forming

Stone wasn't fooled for one second. He could tell that Ry had been crying and was sad, and the sand thing was old anyways. "It's okay, Ry. If you're sad about something and you want to get it off your chest, feel free to tell me. I won't judge you in any way." Stone said reassuringly. He was a bit suprised at himself for being able to say something that straightforward.

Ry sighed and began, "my life is fucked up majorly....my best friend wants me to be his..again..and what he did to me...I." Ry began crying again and his body started trembling. "I cant forgive him." Ry, unknowingly wrapped his arms around Stones neck and began sobbing uncontrollably...not caring what Stone thought

Stone immediately tensed up when Ry wrapped his arms around him. That had never happened before, and he really didn't have any idea what to do. After a couple of seconds of partially panicking, Stone wrapped his own arms around Ry and hugged him comfortingly. "Its okay, Ry. It's okay..." Stone rubbed Ry's back gently, trying his best to comfort Ry, something he had no experience what so ever in doing.

"Thank you Stone." Ry wiped his face and looked up at Stone. "I'm sorry you had to see me like this, especially if this is our second time meeting." He looked down and sniffled once more before closing his eyes and just sitting there. Ry could feel a warm hand gliding up and down his back and surprising the hand on his back felt...nice and friendly. Ry smiled and leaned his head on Stone's shoulder.

"I-its, fine, Ry. We all have things that we just need to let out. If you keep emotions like that bottled up for too long, its not really all that healthy." Stone continued to rub Ry's back in a comforting gesture. Pfft, listen to yourself for once, Stone! You're one to talk about bottled up feelings....well, at least I know I was able to comfort Ry in some way... He thought to himself as he felt the ocean breeze. He completely forgot that he didn't have a shirt on until just then, but the warm sun felt good.

Ry smiled and put his head into the crook of Stones neck and sighed. He's warm..wait..why am I talking about how warm he is?! Gosh, I think I'm going crazy but...it feels nice. Ry seemed content for once in his life. He finally made a friend for the first time...

The distant sounds of seagulls in the distance combined with the rushing back and forth of the waves made the whole atmosphere feel calm and peaceful. Stone had never really felt this at ease at the academy, and it felt good just to have a calm moment. He was also glad that he had made a pretty cool friend, one that was nice and didn't make fun of him.

After sometime Ry fell asleep. His breathing at a slow pace. He mumbled a few words but kept sleeping. Ry snuggled closer into Stone for warmth and smiled in his sleep.In Ry's dream he was home with his adoption mother and her son who was a little younger then Ry was. They looked happy and smiles were everywhere. Once or twice, Ry giggled in his dream.

Stone looked down at Ry and noticed that he ad fallen asleep. He would hear Ry giggle every now and then, and he really wondered what in the world he could be dreaming about. He's...cute when he's asleep.... Stone then realized what was going through his mind and shook it out of his thoughts. Snap out of it, Stone! What the hell are you thinking!? I mean, this is another guy you're talking about!

Ry mumbled the word "Stone" and leaned into the crook of Stone's neck again. His breath washed over Stone's neck. Ry put his arms in his lap and left them there as he slept..

Stone blinked in suprise at his name being murmured by Ry. S-seriously, what is he dreaming about?! I... When Stone felt Ry's warm breath on his neck, he shivered a bit. It wasn't really a creeped out shiver, but was more of a pleased shiver...Snap out of it damn it! Stone's thoughts rang like sirens in his ears.

Ry shivered in his sleep and suddenly jolted awake. He rubbed his eyes and stretched but found it difficult being in Stone's arms. For some weird reason...Ry felt safe in these arms..He then looked up at Stone with a smile, "sorry I fell asleep." Ry yawns once more and rans a hand through his hair then for some reason runs his fingers through Stone's hair. Ry's eyes widened and quickly took his hand away."Sorry," he mumbled

"I-it's o-okay, Ry." Stone stammered. Well, he just woke up! So he must not know what he's doing...yeah, thats it! A logical explaination! Okay, okay, everything is fine... Stone looked into Ry's eyes a bit and all his nervousness seemed to melt away and he didn't realize that he slowly moved his hand to touch Ry's hand.

Ry saw this and went wide eyed for a minute before reaching out to touch Stone's hand. As he gently grabbed Stone's hand he felt electricity run through his hand and up his arm. Ry looked up at Stone and started leaning closer, closing his eyes as he leaned up. Ry didn't know what he was thinking

Stone also started to slowly lean in towards Ry. His heart was pounding; echoing loudly in his chest, and he never felt this way before. His other hand reached up to gently slide up behind Ry's neck, pulling him even closer to him. Stone could practically feel Ry's warm breath on his lips as he drew nearer and nearer to him. Just as soon as Stone closed his eyes and their lips just barely met, he pulled back suddenly, snapping his eyes back open. "I-I'm so s-sorry, Ry! I...I didn't mean...oh, fuck..." Stone stammered, getting even more nervous. He coudn't believe all the thoughts running though his head. Ry was a guy...how could Stone have feelings like this for another boy?

Ry pulled back and blushed a deep shade of red. "I-Its ok alright Stone..I wanted to do that." Ry blushed and leaned up again and pressed his lips to Stone's. Ry could feel his body heating up, his face felt hotter. He closed his eyes and wrapped his arms around Stone's neck and pulled himself closer to him.

Stone's eyes widened a bit at Ry pulled him into the kiss. He definately didn't see that coming. W-what the hell?! Stone, what are you doing?! He's a fucking guy, damn it! His thoughts were yelling at him; screaming at him to stop what was happening and run far away. Stone wasn't gay...well, at least he never thought he was. Well, he never really liked boys or girls. He didn't get to know anyone to really develop any feelings for them...but Ry was different for some reason...Stone's thoughts soon were drowned out by the beating of his heart. He slowly slid his arms around Ry's waist and deepened the kiss. After a few seconds, Stone was so consumed in the moment that he lightly traced Ry's lip with his tongue.
