Making a wish [OPEN]

HE looked up."My name is Damyan." HE said quietly, His accent was very thick.

Amir heard this and hugged Damyan tightly. "Oh my god DAmyan! I thought you were in the hospital." But Damyan shook his head, keeping his bunny close to him.

It took a second for Simon to put two and two togther and then he realized that Damyan was the friend that Amir was so worried about. Well, he didn't look sick to Simon, so Damyan must have gotten better. "Its nice to meet you, Damyan." Simon said with a kind smile.

"Nice to meet you too. and I wasnt ever in the hospital, Dag and Rulf told you that so when I came here it would be a surprise." He was speaking quietly and Amir let go of him. "Damyan, Im so glad you are okay." Damyan nodded and still looked like a girl.

Simon found it peculiar that Damyan looked a lot like a girl. He didn't dare say that out loud, because he didn't want to make an enemy out of Damyan by offending him or something. "Velcome to the academy, Damyan. Classes haven't started yet, so you didn't really miss out on much." Simon said with a smile.

He looked at Simon and nodded. Amir smiled and let go of Damyan but kept his hand on Damyans shoulder. "Damyan there is no need to be so shy. Open up, it will help you feel better."

"O-oh, its alright if you're too shy to talk to me. I won't get offended or anything. But if you really want to talk, I won't judge you for anything." Simon said, wanting to make a friend out of Damyan. He looked like a nice person and Simon wanted to make a friend,

Damyan looked down at the ground. His bangs covered his face but his feminine face could be seen. Amir smiled to Damyan and hugged him again. Damyan was oka with making a friend but it wasnt easy for him.

Simon really thought that Damyan looked like a girl...but in a sort of good way. He hoped that he was friendly as well, because Simon wanted to make friends at the academy, if at all possible. Simon smiled once more, showing his unusually long canine teeth. "I hope ve can be friends, Damyan." He said in a friendly tone.

HE looked at Simon."I hope so as well." Amir smiled that the two got along, he knew Damyan was stubborn as hell and not the easiest to get to open up. He had a feeling that Damyan would do much better here than back home.

Simon was pretty glad that he hadn't been flat out rejected by Damyan and could tell that he was a nice person. Mabye they could be very good friends after all. Simon smiled at Damyan, his golden eyes filled his happiness and kindness.

Damyan looked at him but didnt smile back. HE wouldnt bring himself to unless he was actually happy. "So Damyan how did you actually get here? I know you hate planes and you hate water more than anything."

Simon heard Amir's question and wondered what Damyan's answer would be. So Damyan hates planes and water? I wonder why....well, I can understand the plane thing because I get air sick and hate planes as well, but why would he be afraid of water? Mabye he drowned or something when he was young?

"I took a boat actually, I refused to take a plane and I still hate water." Amir started laughing after Damyan spoke. "You seriously need to get over the water thing Damyan, its not healthy."

Simon was very curious now, over why Damyan hated water so much. "Vhy do you hate vater, Damyan?" Simon asked curiously. He hoped that what he had asked didn't strike an emotional chord with Damyan, because he didn't mean to do that.

"I fear water because I dont exactly know what in the water and that I feel the water is... alive." He knew he sounded crazy but he was crazy and he was alright with not being mentally healthy.

Simon thought of that reason and came up with a conclusion. "Vell, that's perfectly normal. A lot of people have those fears." Simon said in a reassuring tone. Simon himself had some problems mentally himself, and didn't think of Damyan's fears as wierd in anyway.

HE nodded. "I should go, I need to get to know the place better. Good bye, Nice to meet you Simon." HE said as he walked away. "I think things will go better for him. He needs the help anyway. "

Simon looked over at Amir and smiled. "He seems like a very nice person. I'm very glad that he vasn't in critical condition like you vere led to believe." Simon said in a relieve tone of voice. That would be horrible for Amir if it was true.

"That isnt entirely true. Damyan could have said that so I dont get worried. I dont know if he was sick or if he is sick. He may not even know if he was in the hospital. He isnt well."

"Vhy wouldn't he know if he vas in the hospital?" Simon asked with a concerned tone of voice. Could Damyan possibly have black outs like I do? Well, its a possibility... Simon wondered silently. He didn't know anyone else who had his condition or Damyan's for that matter.

"Like you he does get blackouts but really, he is very scrrewed up mentally. He could be doing one thing and think he is doing something else. There is no one willing to help him like I do."

"Oh...vell its nice that he does have you to help him out...I never had anyone care enough back home to help me out. They just harassed me with medications, trying to mask the problems....my parents even sent me to a mental institution for a year...." Simon said sadly.

"They tried to do that to him but I wouldnt let them take him away. I need him and he needs me. I wish there was some one else willing to show himm love that he never felt, I think it would really help him."

"You sound like a really good friend...much like one I met when I was sent avay." Simon said in a more happy tone. Unknowingly to him, his good friend was all a figment of his imagination that he had made when he was in the institution.

"At least you have a friend. I need to figure out how to help him. There is only so much I can do." HE thought hard and tried t think of what he could do for Damyan to help him.
